Title: Vice President, Commercial Engine Product Line

Location: Deerfield Beach (Corporate Office)

Overview: The VP of Commercial Engine Product Line leads the full lifecycle management of Mach 2's engine portfolio- from acquisition and valuation through teardown, parts repair, trading, and leasing. This executive role is responsible for building a scalable, data-driven engine business that drives revenue growth, margin expansion, and asset ROI, while establishing best-in-class operating practices within a fast-paced aviation asset environment.

Specific Responsibilities

Business Context

  • Transaction-driven aviation market (buy/sell/trade/lease aircraft and engines)
  • High-value asset optimization requiring precision valuation, speed, and market intelligence
  • Cross-functional collaboration across asset management, sales, engineering, and vendors


Objectives

  • Build a best-in-class Engine Product Line aligned with Mach 2's growth strategy
  • Create meaningful revenue and gross profit contribution from engine and parts monetization
  • Develop a structured, scalable team and operating model (modeled after proven industry platforms)


Core Responsibilities

  • Own full lifecycle engine asset strategy (acquisition 14 teardown 14 repair 14 resale/lease)
  • Develop valuation models, market intelligence, and acquisition processes
  • Manage engine trading, leasing, and parts commercialization strategies
  • Create and maintain product tiering, harvest plans, and inventory data in Quantum
  • Lead vendor development for teardown and repair (leveraging existing relationships where possible)
  • Handle RFQs and customer-facing engine parts opportunities
  • Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for performance tracking
  • Optimize teardown decisions, scrap rates, and LLP recovery
  • Build and lead a high-performing engine product line team
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on pricing, risk, and asset strategies
