  • Support Hamilton Lane's representation in broader capital markets discussions, syndication processes, and lender presentations.
  • Stay informed on regulatory developments and market innovations impacting private market financing.

Financing, cash management, and compliance
  • Oversee the execution, renewal, and compliance of treasury-related facilities and arrangements, ensuring accurate drawdowns/paydowns, covenant tracking, and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Maintain and enhance policies, procedures, and internal controls that provide an appropriate control environment over treasury activities and support audit readiness.

Modeling, reporting, and decision support
  • Develop and maintain treasury and financing models, dashboards, and reporting packages that provide insight into cash, capital, and credit utilization for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare or oversee cash and capital trend analyses and key treasury metrics to inform management decision-making and strategic planning.

Capital Markets Support

  • Support evaluation of alternative financing structures (e.g., securitizations, private credit solutions, hybrid facilities) to enhance flexibility and cost efficiency.
  • Assist in coordinating with fundraising and investor relations teams to assess how financing solutions impact investor returns and product competitiveness.

Credit Facility Reporting & Compliance (Support)

  • Assist in coordinating reporting processes and controls with Fund Accounting, Portfolio Management, and Legal.
  • Help track facility utilization, availability, and upcoming maturities/renewals, and flag risks or issues to the Principal.
  • Support timely and accurate delivery of lender-required reporting and certifications.

Risk Management
  • Support strategies for refinancing, restructuring, or unwinding facilities based on market conditions and portfolio needs.
  • Help implement risk management practices to mitigate exposure to interest rate, liquidity, and counterparty risk across facilities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in private markets, asset management, or fund financing origination (e.g., at a bank, subscription line lender, or fund finance origination team).
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with bank and lending counterparties.
  • Experience negotiating and structuring subscription line facilities; NAV facility or asset-backed facility exposure a plus.
  • Strong financial modeling, borrowing base, and covenant analysis skills.
  • Solid understanding of private market strategies, fund structures, and asset valuation methodologies.
