The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Virtual Sales Clinical Specialist (IPVS), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
  • Serving as the primary education and implementation resource for the Virtual Sales IPVS team by supporting product demonstrations, customer education, product trials, and adoption activities in partnership with sales representatives and healthcare stakeholders.
  • Delivering product training and clinical education for healthcare providers, clinicians, educators, and facility champions, including train-the-trainer programs and the development and maintenance of educational tools and training resources.
  • Coordinating facility conversion and onboarding activities by partnering with facility leadership to establish implementation plans, providing follow-up education, reinforcing product utilization, and identifying barriers to successful adoption.
  • Serving as a subject matter resource for Infection Prevention products by supporting product-related clinical questions, developing expertise in sterilization workflows and product applications, and escalating advanced clinical issues when appropriate.
  • Supporting approved skills fairs, educational programs, customer events, product launches, and onboarding of new IPVS representatives through virtual and in-person training and ongoing educational content development.


Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher AND two (2) years of experience delivering education, training, customer support, healthcare product implementation, or related experience.

OR
  • High School Diploma/GED or higher AND six (6) years of experience delivering education, training, customer support, healthcare product implementation, or related experience.


AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
  • Experience delivering education, training, or customer support to internal or external audiences.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% domestically to support customer education, implementation activities, and approved events.


Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Clinical background such as Registered Nurse (RN), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), Infection Prevention, Sterile Processing, Clinical Educator, or related healthcare experience.
  • Presentation and communication skills, including the ability to facilitate virtual and in-person learning.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, customer needs, and implementation activities simultaneously.
  • Experience supporting healthcare product implementation, customer onboarding, facility conversion, or clinical adoption programs.
  • Knowledge of infection prevention, sterilization workflows, surgical workflows, or hospital-based products.
  • Experience facilitating virtual and in-person training programs for healthcare professionals or commercial teams.
  • Experience developing educational materials, train-the-trainer programs, product demonstrations, or customer-facing learning resources.

Travel: May include up to 30% domestic

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $73,600 - $101,200, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
