Qualifications

• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II required.
• DoD 8570/8140 approved VMware certification (VMware VCP-DCV 2020 or newer -OR- VCAP 2020 or newer) mandatory.
• At least one relevant Computing Environment certification required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• A minimum of 7 years' experience managing and maintaining virtualized server environments.
• 2+ years managing large scale, multi-disciplinary projects involving virtual servers.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations and maintenance of virtualized environments across data centers and cloud architectures.
• Provide end-to-end operational support for virtual machines and associated infrastructure components.
• Execute implementations and upgrades for hosts, hypervisors, and applications.
• Systematically install critical patches and updates across all environments.
• Continually monitor hypervisor and infrastructure health to ensure stability.
• Analyze performance trends and conduct capacity planning for optimization.
• Identify and implement automation for routine administrative tasks.
