The VP, Packaged Gases leads the end-to-end performance of a large, complex packaged gases business, with full accountability for safety, commercial execution, operations, distribution, production, customer experience, and financial results. This role owns the strategic direction and operating performance of an approximately US$500M business, driving sustainable revenue growth, market share expansion, margin improvement, and operating profit delivery while ensuring alignment with Linde's safety, compliance, and values-based culture.

The VP establishes and executes the growth roadmap for the business, including pricing, volume, retention, product and market expansion, and potential M&A opportunities. The role integrates sales, retail, operations, logistics, production, and support functions to deliver customer value, optimize service reliability, and improve productivity across regional fill plants and distribution hubs. A key priority is business modernization, from automation, digitalization and process optimization, to practical adoption of AI to improve decision-making, efficiency, and scalability.

As a senior enterprise leader, the VP builds and develops a high-performing leadership team, strengthens succession and talent pipelines, and drives employee engagement across a broad, geographically dispersed workforce. The role proactively identifies business risks and opportunities, sets clear objectives and KPIs, promotes accountability and continuous improvement, and partners across the organization to deliver safe, profitable, customer-focused growth.
