This position will lead the execution of Paul Davis Canada's national growth strategy and is accountable for the achievement of national revenue, pipeline, and growth targets. This executive provides leadership, coaching, and accountability for the Canadian sales team while serving as a player-coach who actively participates in strategic business development. The role primarily drives commercial growth across key strategic verticals, partnerships, and referral channels, while supporting insurer relationships and initiatives as business needs and growth strategies require. The VP works closely with Operations, Quality Assurance, CAT, Marketing, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure growth commitments are operationally supported and consistently delivered across the Paul Davis network.

Remote Position: Vice President of Strategic Growth
Reports to: SVP Business Development Canada
Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Salary Range: $125K - $145K annually

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Own and lead execution of the Canadian national growth strategy, with accountability for revenue, pipeline, market share, and growth objectives.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and hold accountable the Canadian sales team to maximize performance, foster professional growth, and consistently achieve revenue goals, activity expectations, and required KPIs.
  • Serve as a player-coach by actively developing strategic commercial opportunities, partnerships, and referral channels while strengthening client relationships and expanding market presence.
  • Provide executive oversight of key account management, including client touchpoints, implementation of new accounts, dispute resolution, problem avoidance, contract oversight, and compliance with service level agreements.
  • Establish and manage sales performance standards, forecasting, pipeline activity, CRM adoption, data integrity, and reporting to support accountability and executive decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Executive Leadership and Operations on business planning, strategic priorities, annual growth objectives, and initiatives that support sustainable network growth.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality Assurance, CAT, Marketing, Finance, and other functional leaders to align growth initiatives with organizational capabilities, client commitments, and company goals.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to support strategic planning, operational readiness, service development, and investment decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Paul Davis offices across Canada, building a deep understanding of franchise capabilities, service offerings, local market dynamics, and growth objectives.
  • Identify and implement innovative growth strategies, partnership models, and business processes that improve performance across commercial, insurance, and strategic referral channels.
  • Represent Paul Davis at industry events, conferences, association meetings, client presentations, PDR Owner School, district meetings, the PDR annual convention, and the CSMP as requested.
  • Oversee the sales organization's budget and allocate resources effectively to support growth objectives while maintaining fiscal responsibility and adjusting expenditures in alignment with business performance and strategic priorities.
  • Lead and oversee effective RFP/RFI responses and sales proposals that clearly communicate the value and benefits of doing business with Paul Davis.
  • Complete additional projects and duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
  • Executive-level knowledge of commercial account management, relationship-based selling, consultative sales methodologies, and strategic business development.
  • Strong understanding of insurance restoration, commercial property services, risk management, and related industry channels.
  • Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and mentoring high-performing sales or business development teams, with a track record of exceeding targets and delivering sustainable revenue and market share growth.
  • Strong command of sales forecasting, pipeline management, CRM systems, performance measurement, sales analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to translate market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer insights into actionable growth strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish, grow, and maintain executive-level client, partner, franchise, and internal stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong experience developing and reviewing proposals, RFP/RFI responses, presentations, and strategic business cases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients, franchise owners, executives, and internal teams, with strong presentation and executive presence.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint, Zoom, and MS Teams.
  • Ability to influence without authority and work effectively across a franchise network and cross-functional organization.
  • Strong strategic, financial, and analytical thinking, including knowledge of cost analysis and resource allocation.
  • Sound independent judgment, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity, accountability, initiative, confidentiality, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.

Required Education and Experience:
  • College diploma, bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
  • 10+ years of progressive sales, business development, insurance, commercial services, or business management experience
  • Demonstrated people-leadership experience with accountability for team performance, revenue growth, and business results
  • Demonstrated experience managing strategic accounts, complex client relationships, sales pipelines, and growth initiatives
  • Ability and willingness to obtain necessary industry trade certifications

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related discipline
  • Leadership experience within the restoration, insurance, commercial property, facility services, or related industries
  • Experience working within a franchise or distributed service-delivery network
  • Experience leading national or multi-regional sales and business development initiatives

Travel:
This position may require up to 50% travel for client and vendor visits, industry events, business development activities, franchise visits, team meetings, and training.

This is a remote position.

Compensation: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
