A Day in the life of a Vice President of Production
A day in the life of a Vice President of Production at Stanley Martin is all about leadership and collaboration to ensure smooth construction operations and sustained excellence. You will oversee the division's production and warranty teams, guiding and mentoring them to meet departmental goals and uphold quality standards. Managing and pre-planning an even flow of starts and settlements, you will coordinate with leaders to maintain a steady production process while strategizing on move-in ready homes. Your role involves directing timely warranty resolutions, all permitting activities, enforcing best practices, and leveraging reporting tools to drive consistent performance and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with purchasing, land development, and sales teams to align objectives, control costs, and maintain safety standards. Spending significant time in the field with the production team, you will ensure operations align with divisional goals. Throughout the day, your leadership reflects a strong commitment to upholding Stanley Martin's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Additionally, they possess the ability to lay out a division's neighborhood start and settlement plans to efficiently achieve settlement goals based on team capacity, governmental restrictions, and trade partner capacity, as well as the ability to attract, hire, develop, and retain a skilled team of professionals and trade partners.
