Full Job Description
Description

Tyto Athene is searching for a Vice President, Growth Strategy & Analytics to support our growing business.

The VP, Growth Strategy & Analytics owns the analytical engine behind the company's competitive and inorganic growth. Its defining responsibility is to quantify the growth value of capital decisions: modeling the win-probability (pWin) delta a prospective acquisition is expected to deliver across the pursuit pipeline before capital is committed, so corporate development and executive leadership can price and prioritize targets against growth outcomes — not financial multiples alone.   The VP directs the team and serves as the connective tissue between corporate development, Capture, and Business Development. This role feeds Capture's win strategy; it does not own capture execution or bid ownership. Maintaining that boundary — informing without absorbing — is central to the role's success.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Corporate Development on growth-side diligence for acquisition targets and major teaming decisions.
  • Model the pWin delta a target is expected to “buy” across the pipeline — linking a target's capabilities, past performance, cleared talent, contract vehicles, and customer access to specific pursuit win probabilities.
  • Assess the competitive and market-positioning implications of targets; identify where inorganic moves close capability or discriminator gaps.
  • Deliver the growth-side investment thesis and risk view to inform go/no-go, valuation, and prioritization. (Pre-deal counterpart to the post-close integration owned by the VP, Sales Enablement & Transformation.)

Growth Analytics & Decision Support

  • Own pipeline win-probability analytics and competitive intelligence that inform portfolio prioritization and B&P / investment allocation.
  • Produce executive-ready analysis for the CGO organization and, as needed, PE sponsor and board discussions.

Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and scale the realigned PTW team (initially 2); build the function's standards, tooling, and capacity.
What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)
  • A standardized PTW methodology adopted and used consistently across priority pursuits.
  • A working pWin-impact model applied to at least one live acquisition evaluation.
  • A clear, respected, well-understood interface with Capture — informing win strategy without friction over ownership.
  • Measurably sharper pursuit prioritization and competitive-positioning discipline.
Qualifications

Required:

  • 8+ years in GovCon growth, business development, capture, price-to-win, competitive intelligence, or corporate development, with progressive leadership responsibility.
  • Demonstrated PTW expertise: competitor cost modeling, pricing strategy, and win-probability methodologies.
  • Experience supporting or leading M&A diligence, teaming analysis, or corporate development in a federal contracting context.
  • Strong financial and quantitative modeling skills, with the ability to translate analysis into executive-level decisions.
Desired:
  • MBA or advanced quantitative/analytical degree.
  • Exposure to AI, quantum, or other emerging-technology pursuits.
  • Experience in PE-backed or platform / roll-up environments.
  • Active TS/SCI.
Core Competencies:
  • Analytical rigor
  • Executive communication
  • Influence without authority
  • Cross-functional partnership (Corp Dev / Capture / BD)
  • Comfort operating at the intersection of finance and growth

Location:

  • Tyto Athene Headquarters, Reston, VA

Travel:

  • As needed primarily Northern Virginia / customer and corporate locations.

Compensation:

  • Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements.

Benefits:

  • Highlights of our benefits include Health/Dental/Vision, 401(k) match, Paid Time Off, STD/LTD/Life Insurance, Referral Bonuses, professional development reimbursement, and parental leave.
