About the Role:The Vice President of Finance plays a critical leadership role in shaping the financial strategy and health of the organization. Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, including executive management.
- 10 years' experience as the Controller or Director of Finance with direct supervision of the finance team, preferably with a not-for-profit healthcare organization.
- Proven expertise in financial planning, risk management, and strategic cost management.
- Strong knowledge of financial governance, audit regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial auditing, including leading internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and implementing effective internal controls.
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or a related discipline.
- Track record of leading finance teams through periods of significant growth or transformation.
