Summary:
Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking an execution-focused technology executive to serve as Vice President, IT Operations, Services & Program Management.

Reporting to the Chief Information & Technology Officer (CITO), this leader will serve as the operational execution engine for the Technology organization. The role is responsible for strengthening delivery discipline, improving IT service maturity, and ensuring strategic technology work is executed with accountability, and measurable outcomes.

Work Arrangement:
• Remote: Open to applicants in the United States, excluding CA, IL, ND, NY, OH, WA, and WY.
• Hybrid: For individuals within 60 miles of Albuquerque, in-office presence is required Tuesday through Thursday.

Job Description:

Enterprise Program Management
  • Lead and mature the IT Program Management Office, including a team of program and project management professionals.
  • Establish consistent standards for project intake, governance, prioritization, delivery discipline, resource planning, risk management, and executive reporting.
  • Oversee execution of complex technology initiatives across clinical, operational, infrastructure, digital, cybersecurity, AI, and modernization domains.
  • Drive accountability for timelines, scope, budget, dependencies, escalations, and value realization.
  • Partner with clinical, operational, and business leaders to ensure technology programs are delivered effectively and adopted successfully.
  • Bring strong experience managing healthcare delivery technology projects; Epic implementation, upgrade, or optimization experience is strongly preferred.

IT Service Management
  • Lead IT Service Management, including a team of professionals.
  • Mature enterprise practices for incident, problem, change, request, knowledge, and service catalog management.
  • Establish service performance metrics, dashboards, operating rhythms, and continual improvement practices.
  • Improve consistency, transparency, and accountability in how IT services are delivered and supported.

IT End-user Services
  • Lead IT End-user Services, including 12 professionals responsible for end-user technology and workforce productivity services.
  • Improve the experience, reliability, adoption, and support model for enterprise workforce technology.
  • Partner across Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Applications, and Digital teams to deliver secure, reliable, and user-centered technology services.

Office of the CITO
  • Serve as the operational leader for the Office of the CITO.
  • Translate technology priorities into execution plans, governance routines, dashboards, and leadership communications.
  • Coordinate portfolio reviews, executive updates, operational cadences, and cross-functional issue resolution.
  • Lead ongoing improvement of the Technology operating model, including team structure, delivery practices, vendor governance, and service maturity.


Additional Job Description:
  • 18+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare IT environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise PMO, technology delivery, IT operations, client services, or service management functions.
  • Strong background managing complex healthcare technology programs; Epic experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading teams of directors, managers and professionals across multiple functions.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, vendor spend, business cases, and value realization.
  • Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to build high-performing teams, improve operating discipline, and drive measurable outcomes.
