Overview

The Vice President, Human Resources serves as the senior HR leader for the Analytical Sciences business unit and as a principal advisor to the Analytical Sciences SVP and executive leadership team. This role is accountable for aligning people strategy with business priorities to accelerate growth, strengthen leadership capability, and ensure organizational effectiveness across geographies.

Operating within a matrixed, global environment, the VP, HR translates enterprise strategy into high-impact, regionally relevant people solutions while maintaining governance, consistency, and compliance. The role leads a global HR organization and partners closely with enterprise HR leaders and Centers of Excellence to deliver scalable and differentiated outcomes.

This role will be based out of the Milford, MA site.

Responsibilities

Executive Partnership & Business Leadership
  • Serve as a core member of the Global Analytical Sciences Leadership Team, contributing directly to strategy development, operating plans, and execution
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on organizational capability, leadership effectiveness, succession, and workforce strategy
  • Provide candid counsel, informed by data and experience, on complex people and organizational matters

People & Workforce Strategy
  • Design and execute an integrated people strategy aligned to business goals, including growth, innovation, productivity, and margin improvement
  • Anticipate future talent and capability needs; ensure the organization is positioned to compete effectively in priority markets
  • Sponsor succession planning and executive talent strategy for critical leadership roles

Leadership, Talent & Culture
  • Drive leadership development and performance rigor across all levels of the organization
  • Champion a culture of accountability, inclusion, and high performance consistent with enterprise values
  • Embed diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging as strategic drivers of business performance

Organizational Effectiveness & Change
  • Lead organization design, restructuring, and workforce transformation efforts to enable speed, scale, and agility
  • Sponsor enterprise and business-unit-level change initiatives, including transformations, integrations, and operating model shifts
  • Use analytics and insights to assess organizational health, engagement, and retention; translate findings into decisive action

Employee Relations, Risk & Governance
  • Ensure effective employee relations practices across regions, balancing global standards with local regulatory and cultural requirements
  • Provide oversight on complex investigations, risk matters, labor relations, and compliance issues
  • Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, and regional HR leaders to mitigate risk and uphold enterprise standards

HR Leadership & Operating Excellence
  • Build and lead a high-performing, globally distributed HR leadership team
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver streamlined, scalable, and high-quality HR services
  • Drive continuous improvement, operational rigor, and disciplined execution across the HR operating model


Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in HR, Business, or related discipline


Experience:
  • 15+ years of progressive human resources leadership experience, including senior roles supporting global organizations
  • Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership in complex, matrixed, and fast-moving global environments
  • Strategic, commercially minded executive with strong business acumen
  • Confident, credible presence with the ability to influence and challenge senior leaders
  • Inclusive leader who develops high-performing teams and future HR leaders
  • Sound judgment, resilience, and comfort navigating ambiguity and complexity
  • Must have ability to work onsite at Milford MA . In office Tuesday to Thursday, remote Monday and Friday.


Preferred Experience and Education:

Advanced degree (MBA, MSHR, or equivalent)

Experience supporting large-scale transformation, integration, or sustained growth environments
