Full Job Description
What We Need:

Guardian Restoration Partners is building one of North America's leading residential restoration platforms. As we continue to scale, our next competitive advantage will come from creating a consistent, measurable, and scalable approach to generating profitable organic growth across our partner companies.

We are seeking a Vice President, Growth to build and lead Guardian's enterprise Business Development Operating Model. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will define and execute Guardian's enterprise growth strategy in partnership with the CEO and executive leadership team, lead the Business Development organization, and establish the people, processes, technology, analytics, and operating rhythm needed to drive sustainable, profitable growth. This is a hands-on builder role for a leader who can move fluidly between enterprise strategy and field execution. The right candidate will bring the commercial vision to define what great looks like, the operating discipline to turn that vision into a repeatable system, and the influence to drive adoption across a decentralized organization.

Over the first 12 months, this leader will be expected to materially improve qualified lead generation, Business Development productivity, conversion, channel performance, and commercial visibility while embedding a consistent growth operating model across Guardian's partner companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Build Guardian's Sales Operating System
  • Design and implement a scalable commercial operating model across Guardian's partner companies.
  • Own the design and continuous improvement of Business Development quotas, territory structures, compensation plans, sales methodology, lead-management standards, CRM strategy, and commercial technology.
  • Establish consistent KPIs, reporting, forecasting, and operating cadences across the enterprise.
  • Develop an enterprise sales playbook that incorporates proven practices from across the platform while allowing for appropriate local market flexibility.
  • Create clear performance visibility at the enterprise, regional, market, partner, and individual levels.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the operating system as Guardian grows.
Lead Enterprise Sales Strategy
  • Develop and execute Guardian's enterprise sales optimization strategy in partnership with the CEO and executive leadership team.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to increase qualified lead generation, improve conversion, expand market share, and strengthen customer acquisition economics.
  • Define and optimize Guardian's enterprise approach across core sales channels, including plumbing partnerships, property management, enterprise relationships, and digital marketing.
  • Allocate resources across channels based on performance, scalability, market opportunity, and return on investment.
  • Balance immediate performance improvement with the development of durable, long-term commercial capabilities.
  • Build digital marketing into a more predictable and meaningful source of qualified leads while continuing to strengthen Guardian's relationship-driven referral channels.
Lead and Develop the Business Development Organization
  • Provide enterprise leadership to Regional Sales Leaders, Business Development Managers, and the broader Business Development organization.
  • Define the organizational structure, leadership capabilities, role expectations, and talent standards required to support Guardian's sales strategy.
  • Recruit, coach, develop, and retain high-performing commercial leaders while addressing capability and performance gaps directly.
  • Establish clear quotas, performance expectations, accountability mechanisms, succession plans, and leadership-development priorities.
  • Partner with Market Area Presidents and General Managers on local staffing, market-level sales execution, and shared performance management of Regional Sales Leaders and Business Development leadership.
  • Build a strong succession pipeline and leadership bench capable of scaling with Guardian's continued acquisition and organic growth.
Improve Commercial Performance
  • Increase qualified lead volume, Business Development productivity, conversion, and market-level commercial performance.
  • Establish reliable visibility into qualified leads, close rates, cost per lead, cost per sold job, channel performance, pipeline health, and individual productivity.
  • Use performance data to identify root causes, prioritize interventions, and hold leaders accountable for improvement.
  • Partner with Finance to evaluate sales investments, improve acquisition economics, and ensure customer acquisition costs grow more slowly than the value of the jobs generated.
  • Identify, test, and scale practices that consistently produce stronger commercial results.
Lead Change Across a Decentralized Organization
  • Build credibility and strong working relationships with Market Area Presidents, General Managers, founders, and local commercial teams.
  • Introduce and implement greater consistency without diminishing local accountability, customer relationships, or entrepreneurial ownership.
  • Translate enterprise strategy into practical tools, behaviors, and operating routines that field leaders can execute.
  • Lead pilots, incorporate field feedback, and scale successful approaches across the platform.
  • Navigate resistance, challenge underperforming practices, and drive sustained adoption through influence, evidence, and measurable results.
Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience across sales, business development, commercial operations, revenue operations, or enterprise sales, including at least five years leading within a multi-location, decentralized field services, home services, or other blue-collar operating environment.
  • Demonstrated success building, implementing, or materially scaling a commercial operating system across a multi-location, multi-brand, or decentralized organization.
  • Experience leading field-based sales or Business Development teams through regional, divisional, or market-level leaders.
  • A track record of measurably improving lead generation, conversion, productivity, market share, and customer acquisition economics.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM platforms, sales analytics, compensation design, territory planning, pipeline management, forecasting, and commercial technology.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide change across entrepreneurial, founder-led, acquired, or independently operated businesses.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience evaluating commercial investments, channel performance, return on investment, and operating leverage.
  • Demonstrated ability to move between executive strategy, operating detail, field coaching, talent decisions, and performance accountability.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.

Experience in restoration, home services, field services, or another decentralized service business is strongly preferred.
Skills & Leadership Attributes That Will Make You Successful In This Role:
  • Builder mindset: You know how to create scalable capabilities where limited infrastructure or standardization exists today.
  • Commercial judgment: You distinguish between sales activity and profitable growth, using performance data and return on investment to make disciplined resource-allocation decisions.
  • Operational discipline: You translate strategy into clear processes, metrics, ownership, routines, and accountability.
  • Field orientation: You remain close to local leaders, customers, referral partners, and frontline execution rather than leading exclusively through corporate dashboards.
  • Enterprise influence: You can challenge established practices, navigate competing priorities, and gain adoption without relying solely on hierarchy.
  • Talent leadership: You build strong leaders, address performance gaps directly, and create organizational depth.
  • Change leadership: You know how to introduce consistency across entrepreneurial businesses without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Learning agility: You test, learn, adapt, and scale based on evidence rather than applying a fixed playbook to every market.
