Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, and financial analysis are areas where you excel, and you are comfortable translating complex financial information into clear recommendations for both financial and non-financial stakeholders. THE JOB:Strategic Finance Leadership- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all finance functions across Kinepolis Group's North American businesses.
- Partner with executive leaders to drive profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation.
- Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis, forecasting, scenario planning, and business insights.
- Present financial results, recommendations, and performance insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Financial Planning & Performance Management- Lead the annual budgeting process and oversee forecasting, financial planning, and performance management across the North American portfolio.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, providing reporting and analysis on financial performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide recommendations on resource allocation, cost management, revenue optimization, and capital investments.
Accounting, Compliance & Financial Governance- Oversee accounting, treasury, tax, compliance, and financial reporting activities across North America.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and compliance with applicable regulations and accounting standards.
- Partner with auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions to maintain strong fiscal governance and oversight.
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities and drive continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and controls.
Mergers, Acquisitions & Growth- Lead financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and financial modeling for acquisition opportunities.
- Develop and execute financial integration plans for newly acquired businesses.
- Partner with executive leadership on acquisition strategies, capital allocation, and other growth initiatives.
- Ensure successful financial integration and ongoing financial management of acquired businesses.
Leadership & Collaboration- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance, accounting, and business controller teams across North America.
- Build strong partnerships with leaders across Operations, Marketing, and other business functions to align financial and business objectives.
- Collaborate with Kinepolis Group on global finance initiatives, best practices, and strategic projects.

REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA designation preferred
- Minimum 7 years of progressive senior finance leadership experience, with a strong focus on financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience leading finance functions across both Canadian and U.S. operations
- Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
- Proven experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and business integration
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building, developing, and mentoring high-performing teams
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business recommendations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience partnering with executive leaders and influencing business decisions
- Thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive long-term business growth
