Empath Health is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Finance that will work closely with our CFO to help direct the strategic financial operations of the organization.
What you'll Do- Oversee all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of financial statements to support informed decision-making.
- Drive financial innovation by identifying new revenue opportunities and cost-saving initiatives while maintaining a focus on quality care.
- Assist the CFO in developing and executing long-range financial strategies, including capital planning, service line profitability analysis, and financial modeling for new initiatives or partnerships.
- Conduct operational and financial analysis to support value-based care models and alternative payment methodologies.
- Serve as the principal point of contact for the Division leaders, providing comprehensive financial reporting, actionable insights to improve financial performance and efficiency, and strategic analysis.
- Partner with Revenue Cycle leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting related to patient billing, collections, and reimbursement, and identify opportunities to improve cash flow and reduce revenue leakage.
What You'll Need- CPA Preferred
- Experience with Finance, Accounting, Receivables, A/P, Payroll etc.
- Healthcare Experience Required
- Large Corporation Experience Required with $1 Billion Dollar Plus Corporations
- Experience Leading Large Teams Required
- On-site, This role will work onsite at our Lakewood Ranch Executive Office
