Full Job Description
Crestline Investors is seeking a highly motivated Vice President / Director to join the Insurance and Reinsurance investment team within CL Life. This role supports the development, structuring, and execution of reinsurance and insurance-related investment strategies across life and annuity products. The title will be commensurate with the selected candidate's experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and structuring capabilities, experience in insurance or reinsurance markets, and the ability to work across actuarial, legal, and operations teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports the development and execution of investment strategies in coordination with senior leadership.
  • Assists in structuring, negotiating, and executing reinsurance transactions, including treaty documentation and deal execution support.
  • Manages day-to-day relationships with key investment partners including investment origination teams, ratings agencies and legal counsel.
  • Partners with actuarial, legal, finance, and operations teams to support product filings, regulatory compliance, and transaction execution.
  • Oversees and manages the work of junior investment staff.
  • Conducts market research and competitive analysis to support investment positioning and strategic decision-making.
  • Monitors industry trends and supports adjustments to investment strategies based on market developments.
  • Contributes to process improvements across product development, reinsurance execution, and operational workflows.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, or a related field.
