The Role

The Vice President, DCI Product Leader serves as a senior leader responsible for overseeing the key product delivery teams critical to our Pooled Employer Plan products. This role would partner closely with various senior engineering leaders to help oversee key product features and capabilities related to employer experience, fiduciary monitoring and oversight, and other core aspects of Fidelity's role as a pooled plan provider. This leader will direct multiple product managers to help drive excellent employer experience and partners closely with our Fiduciary Operations team to ensure proper compliance and delivery of capabilities that will help Fidelity scale in a fast-growing market. The VP provides strategic guidance, engages with senior leadership across WI technology and product, and drives continuous development and delivery of key capabilities for our PEP products.

The Work
  • Develop product strategy including vision, target outcomes and KPIs, strategic (high-level) product roadmap, initial Idea screen, and socialization and refinement of ideas
  • Continuously identify product opportunities via customer research, market analysis and competitor assessment
  • Partner with engineering to develop architectural approach, and execution estimates
  • Validate ideas via prototypes and experiments to test hypothesis and track KPIs
  • Provide product subject matter expertise to solve customer and business problems, and ensure decisions align with policies and regulatory requirements
  • Own, manage, and prioritize the product roadmap, inclusive of solutions, experiences, capabilities, and features
  • Align portfolio across product horizons and tech roadmaps
  • Design the product inclusive of UX, solution architecture, scope, and breakdown of work
  • Engage partners and manage enterprise relationships to ensure awareness/alignment of priorities and plans
  • Manage intake of new requests from across the organization

The Team

The team resides in the DC Innovation Product Area in Workplace Investing. The team focuses on maintaining, expanding, and developing new capabilities as we grow our PEP product offerings across multiple markets. These teams own critical pieces of our client experience - both day to day for clients engaging with Fidelity and the PEP,- as well as the back-end platform that enables our team to execute on its Fiduciary responsibility. This team plays a mission-critical role in the stability, scalability, and regulatory integrity of the PEP product.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
