Job Title:

Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer

Job Description:

The Position

The Chief Information Security Officer is the executive responsible for Entegris' global cybersecurity strategy, risk posture, and cyber resilience. Reporting to the Chief Information and Digital Officer, the CISO will protect the company's intellectual property, digital assets, manufacturing operations, critical business services, customer relationships, and position within the global semiconductor supply chain.

This is a business leadership role, not a compliance position. The CISO will establish and execute a three-year transformation roadmap that enables Entegris to innovate and grow securely while materially reducing enterprise risk. The mandate includes strengthening security across information technology, operational technology, cloud platforms, data, digital products, artificial intelligence, identity, third parties, and globally distributed operations.

As Entegris advances its ambition to become an AI-native electronic materials and purity platform, the CISO will help the company adopt AI rapidly, responsibly, and securely. This leader will define security standards for enterprise and agentic AI, protect sensitive data and intellectual property used by AI systems, address emerging AI-related threats, and use AI and automation to improve the effectiveness of the cybersecurity program.

The CISO will lead a global cybersecurity organization and work closely with the executive leadership team, business and functional leaders, the General Counsel, Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, and the Board of Directors. The CISO will provide clear, decision-oriented reporting on material cyber risks, emerging threats, investment priorities, program performance, and incident readiness.

Success will be measured by business outcomes: protecting innovation and intellectual property, sustaining safe and reliable manufacturing operations, preserving customer trust, enabling digital and AI transformation, strengthening resilience, and demonstrating that cybersecurity investments deliver measurable business value.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define and execute Entegris' global cybersecurity, cyber resilience, and digital trust strategy aligned with business objectives, risk appetite, and AI-native transformation goals.

  • Protect the company's intellectual property, manufacturing operations, digital assets, customer information, and critical business services.

  • Serve as the primary advisor to executive leadership and the Board on cybersecurity risk, resilience, investment priorities, emerging threats, and incident preparedness.

  • Lead all cybersecurity functions, including security operations, incident response, cyber resilience, security architecture, identity and access management, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, governance, risk, compliance, and data protection.

  • Establish security and governance standards that enable the rapid, responsible, and secure adoption of AI, automation, and emerging technologies.

  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity capabilities across enterprise technology, cloud platforms, operational technology (OT), manufacturing environments, engineering systems, and digital products.

  • Implement risk-based programs to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate cybersecurity, privacy, third-party, supply chain, insider, and geopolitical risks.

  • Lead enterprise cyber crisis management, including incident response, business continuity, disaster recovery, cyber recovery, regulatory reporting, and executive communications.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers, regulators, auditors, insurers, industry partners, and external stakeholders regarding cybersecurity and resilience matters.

  • Provide cybersecurity leadership for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic business initiatives, including due diligence and integration planning.

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global cybersecurity organization while fostering a culture of security, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure cybersecurity investments deliver measurable business value through improved resilience, operational performance, customer trust, and protection of strategic assets.

Candidate Experience

Required

  • Fifteen or more years of progressive cybersecurity, technology risk, or related leadership experience, including at least five years leading a significant cybersecurity function at the executive level.

  • Experience serving as a CISO, Deputy CISO, or equivalent executive in a publicly traded or comparably complex global enterprise.

  • Demonstrated success developing and executing a multiyear cybersecurity transformation.

  • Experience briefing Boards and Audit Committees and advising senior executives on material cyber risk, investment, incident response, and disclosure decisions.

  • Track record of building, leading, and developing globally distributed cybersecurity teams.

  • Experience protecting complex hybrid environments spanning enterprise IT, cloud platforms, identity, data, and critical business services.

  • Meaningful experience with manufacturing, OT, industrial systems, critical infrastructure, or other environments in which availability and safety are essential.

  • Experience leading cybersecurity through mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and complex integrations.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical and geopolitical threats into business, financial, operational, and customer impacts.

  • Experience with major incident preparedness and response, including executive decision-making, recovery, communications, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Working knowledge of applicable public-company requirements, global privacy obligations, enterprise risk management, and recognized cybersecurity frameworks.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and executive experience.

Preferred

  • Experience in semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, materials science, industrial technology, life sciences, or another innovation- and intellectual-property-intensive industry.

  • Experience establishing security governance for AI or deploying AI-enabled capabilities within a cybersecurity organization.

  • Experience operating across countries with complex geopolitical, trade, privacy, or regulatory requirements.

  • Experience leading through a material cyber incident or significant operational disruption.

  • Advanced degree in a technical, engineering, business, risk, or legal discipline.

  • Executive-level certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent. Certifications are valued but do not substitute for judgment, leadership, and demonstrated results.
