JOB DESCRIPTION

Help shape how disclosed credit card terms are managed across customer accounts—partnering with cross-functional teams to build and refine pricing capabilities that elevate the customer experience and advance strategic business priorities within Card Services’ Marketing, Growth & Innovation.

As a Product Manager in Card Pricing, you are accountable for delivering across the full product lifecycle and responsible for leading and executing on key initiatives. This will be achieved by collaborating across teams within the Credit Card organization to understand business requirements, defining the requirements in partnership with software engineers and other functional teams, and then driving them through build, test, and deployment. This individual will also help direct the product’s backlog prioritization and ensure proper documentation for a strong control environment. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner across various teams in the Card and Connected Commerce organizations to drive an understanding of problem statements, use cases, and business requirements 

  • Exercise strong analytical and problem-solving skills to get deep into customer journeys and product impacts, as well as manage competing priorities

  • Manage, prioritize and deliver multiple epics and user stories simultaneously

  • Partner and collaborate across functional teams (e.g., product, tech, data, and design) for successful and timely project execution 

  • Provide managerial oversight and support to other product team members

  • Communicate (both verbal and written) technical and non-technical updates to executives via decks and reports 

  • Promote a strong control environment by adhering to risk/control, procedure and process expectations, while appropriately delivering what’s best for the customer

  • Partner across product and technology to create test plans for developed capabilities with an automation mindset

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 8+ years of product work experience in product development or related field

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with functional areas to drive successful and timely project execution

  • Proven ability to operate within Agile methodology

  • Expertise in agile processes and principles; experience with modern technology stacks, including cloud, big data, microservices, APIs, etc.

  • Experience influencing others, directly or indirectly, in a fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-functional environment

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables)

  • Experience in fintech or financial services industry
