Full Job Description
BeOne Medicine is seeking a strategic and visionary Vice President of AI and Innovation to spearhead the organization's transformation into a data- and AI-driven enterprise. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, this executive-level role is responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive AI strategy that aligns with BeOne Medicine's overarching business objectives. The VP will leverage and help structure/vectorize the data to drive innovation, optimize operations, and enhance patient-centric services across the organization.

This leader will play a pivotal role in engaging with executive stakeholders to align initiatives with business strategies, demonstrating the value of AI and data capabilities to influence decision-making and drive growth. Additionally, the VP will foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning by building and mentoring high-performing teams, establishing key partnerships, and leading organizational change initiatives that empower every function within BeOne Medicine to adopt AI capabilities effectively.

Essential Functions of the Job:

AI Strategy
  • Define and lead the enterprise-wide AI strategy to align with BeOne Medicine's vision and business priorities.
  • Develop a comprehensive data strategy, ensuring data is efficiently organized, integrated, and governed to serve as a foundation for AI-driven innovation.
  • Establish scalable frameworks for ethical and responsible AI use across the organization.
  • Design and implement a forward-thinking innovation strategy that leverages AI and emerging technologies to solve business challenges and create new market opportunities.


Organizational Enablement
  • Build awareness and train the organization on AI capabilities, helping business and scientific teams understand how AI can improve their work.
  • Act as a bridge between technology and business functions, translating complex AI opportunities into clear, actionable use cases.
  • Empower teams to adopt AI-driven ways of working through education, workshops, and accessible tools.


AI Tools & Resources
  • Provide specialized resources and technical support for complex AI initiatives, ensuring teams have access to the expertise and infrastructure needed.
  • Guide the development and deployment of tailored AI solutions that support research, operations, and patient-centric innovation.
  • Establish partnerships with vendors, startups, and academic institutions to bring best-in-class AI tools and talent into BeOne Medicine.


Leadership & Culture
  • Build and mentor a cross-disciplinary team of AI experts, data scientists, and engineers.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning, ensuring BeOne Medicine stays at the forefront of AI and data innovation in healthcare.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure alignment and adoption of AI and data initiatives across all functions.
  • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and project management for AI and innovation projects to ensure efficient execution and deliver measurable results.

Salary Range: $480,000.00 - $570,000.00 annually
BeOne is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan. All Company employees have the opportunity to own shares of BeOne Medicines Ltd. stock because all employees are eligible for discretionary equity awards and to voluntarily participate in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
