Are you an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician ready to take the next step in your career? Pacific Northwest Pet ER & Specialty Center is seeking a Specialty Supervisor (LVT) to provide floor leadership, support team development, and help ensure exceptional patient care in our specialty hospital.
In your day-to-day, you will:
- Provide leadership and support to clinical team members during assigned shifts
- Coordinate workflow to promote efficient patient care and hospital operations
- Monitor staffing needs and assist with daily resource allocation
- Mentor, coach, and support Licensed Veterinary Technicians and support staff
- Participate in performance management, training, and professional development initiatives
- Assist with onboarding and training of new team members, and support implementation of hospital policies and patient care standards
- Maintain a strong clinical presence and assist with patient care as needed
- Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture
What You Bring- Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential in good standing or ability to obtain Washington licensure
- Previous specialty or advanced clinical veterinary experience preferred
- Prior leadership, mentorship, or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced environments; fluent English speaking and reading skills required
