The Role

The Vehicle Performance Integration Manager (VPIM) leads cross-functional virtual vehicle integration throughout the development process. This role is responsible for driving full-program virtual development, balancing vehicle performance requirements across functions, and enabling efficient architectures through simulation, collaboration, and risk reduction.

What You'll Do
  • Leading vehicle and program virtual integration using simulation and synthesis
  • Driving cross-functional alignment across engineering, subsystem teams, validation, and performance integration
  • Identifying, communicating, and resolving CAE-driven issues with urgency and discipline
  • Supporting development plans, simulation workshare, and math data readiness to ensure timely feedback and decision-making
  • Promoting robust design practices, optimization methods, and continuous improvement in CAE capability


Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

The ideal candidate brings strong technical judgment, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to move quickly in a dynamic development environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 5+ years of cross-functional vehicle development experience
  • Experience with virtual development, CAE-based integration, and performance tradeoff management
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle performance integration and subsystem technical owner interfaces
  • Ability to lead across teams, influence without direct authority, and communicate complex technical issues clearly
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, make timely decisions with incomplete information, and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong collaboration skills and a track record of driving issues to resolution
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity while maintaining focus on execution, speed, and results
  • Candidate must either be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylee or refugee) or a non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required export control authorization.


What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Master's degree in engineering
  • Experience in Global Safety Performance Integration in support of vehicle development
  • Experience in electrical or hybrid vehicle development
  • Knowledge of CAE software, tools, and hardware capabilities
  • Broad experience across vehicle performance functions, including integration and validation
  • DFSS certification or experience applying robust design and optimization principles
