Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Chemical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• 5+ years' experience in automotive Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, or Product Quality
• Strong understanding of vehicle design and assembly processes
• Proficient in reading part dimensional data and identifying fit and finish issues
• Analytical problem-solving skills with a track record of cross-functional teamwork
• Knowledge of tooling and in-plant processes
• Familiarity with metrology principles and statistical analysis

Responsibilities

• Define and ensure efficient geometrical audits of in-plant vehicles
• Manage and report on component and assembly compliance results
• Facilitate issue conformity meetings to drive vehicle issue resolution
• Define pilots for each identified issue and coordinate execution
• Contribute to the alignment of Assembly Tooling with compliance KPIs
• Drive escalation processes with Launch Project Manager for red KPIs
• Collaborate with teams to develop actionable plans for resolving issues
