Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of relevant industry experience; 3+ years dedicated to VDC preferred
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and commitment to team culture
• Strong process orientation with accountability and adaptability
• Solid understanding of building construction sequencing and systems
• Familiarity with project delivery methods including Design-Bid-Build and Design Build
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong influence skillset
• Proficiency in BIM coordination software like Revizto and authoring software including Revit, Civil 3D, and Sketchup
• Experience with laser scanning and UAS photogrammetry techniques

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of virtual building among stakeholders
• Manage VDC planning and execution at project and business unit level
• Communicate the value and standards of VDC capabilities
• Develop succession plans for VDC teams within company pathways
• Foster relationships with leadership in key operational departments
• Lead the implementation of VDC processes and training initiatives
• Evaluate and share lessons learned and best practices throughout project lifecycle
• Act as a VDC subject matter expert and represent the function during client interactions
• Support regional VDC initiatives and national projects
• Leverage VDC tools for design activities, including quantity takeoff and model coordination
• Produce model content and process laser scan data
