Full Job Description
The Sales & Commercial Manager, Valves Aftermarket Services is responsible for driving sales growth, commercial performance, and customer satisfaction within the assigned GeoUnit. This role develops strategic relationships with customers, promotes valve maintenance, repair, turnaround, asset integrity, emissions, and lifecycle service solutions, and serves as the primary link between customers, the GeoUnit, and the Valves Business Line.

The Sales & Commercial Manager leads the local sales team through coaching, engagement, and talent development while ensuring achievement of revenue, profitability, market share, and cash flow targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow Valves Aftermarket Services revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Manage the opportunity pipeline, validate pricing strategies, and maintain accurate forecasts.
  • Lead commercial activities including tender preparation, proposal development, contract negotiations, risk reviews, and pricing approvals.
  • Build strong customer relationships and promote a customer-centric culture focused on operational excellence, customer success, and long-term value creation.
  • Drive adoption of valve maintenance, repair, refurbishment, field service, turnaround, emissions, and asset integrity solutions.
  • Gather and communicate market intelligence, customer needs, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure effective utilization of CRM, opportunity management, and contract management tools.
  • Support receivables management and overall commercial performance within the GeoUnit.
  • Partner with Operations, Service Delivery, and Account Teams to ensure successful execution of customer commitments.
  • Develop, coach, and motivate team members while supporting succession planning and career growth.
  • Maintain compliance with all SLB training, HSE, and business requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent sales experience
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in industrial sales, commercial management, operations, or business development, preferably within valves, pressure relief devices, process equipment, or energy services.
  • Demonstrated experience with aftermarket services including maintenance, repair, refurbishment, turnaround support, asset integrity, or reliability programs.
  • Strong understanding of commercial processes, contract management, pricing strategies, and tendering activities.
  • Proven ability to develop customer relationships and drive revenue growth in a competitive market.
  • Experience with CRM systems, sales forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze profitability, margins, forecasts, and business performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Safety, Compliance, and SLB Core Values.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Valves, Cameron experience or equivalent preferred
  • Technical knowledge of valves, actuators, pressure relief devices, emissions management, or related flow control equipment.
  • Experience supporting customers in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, LNG, Power Generation, or Industrial sectors.
  • Experience leading multi-site or geographically distributed teams.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce/C4C, Power BI, or similar business systems.
