Full Job Description
The Value Stream & Production Relocation Manager owns the performance of assigned product value streams while leading the planning and execution of production relocations across ANA. This role ensures production, equipment, tooling, materials, processes, and people are successfully transitioned with minimal disruption to safety, quality, customer delivery, throughput, and revenue. The position works cross-functionally with Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Facilities, Logistics, and Sales to create predictable production flow and execute successful operational transitions.

The position is fully onsite, and the work schedule is weekdays from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. This role reports to the Plant Manager with a dotted line to the EVP of Operations.

Role & Responsibilities:

Value Stream Management:
  • Own end-to-end performance of assigned value streams.
  • Drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and productivity performance.
  • Manage production plans, capacity, constraints, and material availability.
  • Establish daily management, visual KPIs, and clear accountability.
  • Improve throughput, lead time, flow, and schedule attainment.

Production Relocation:
  • Develop and execute production relocation plans, schedules, milestones, and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate equipment, tooling, inventory, processes, and production transfers.
  • Manage shutdown, move, installation, commissioning, validation, and restart activities.
  • Establish inventory buffers and transition plans to protect customer commitments.
  • Minimize production downtime and operational disruption.

Production Readiness & Ramp-Up:
  • Ensure equipment, utilities, materials, staffing, training, documentation, and quality requirements are ready before launch.
  • Develop production restart and ramp-up plans with measurable targets.
  • Track performance against plan and rapidly resolve constraints.
  • Stabilize relocated operations before transitioning them into normal production management.

Cross-Functional Leadership:
  • Coordinate Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Facilities, Logistics, and Sales.
  • Maintain clear visibility of project status, risks, decisions, and actions.
  • Ensure issues have clear owners and completion dates.
  • Escalate risks early and drive timely decisions.

Continuous Improvement & People:
  • Use relocation as an opportunity to improve layouts, material flow, standard work, and productivity.
  • Apply Lean and structured problem-solving methods.
  • Develop supervisors, leads, and employees.
  • Ensure receiving teams are trained and capable of sustaining the new operation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
  • 3 - 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering, supply chain, or a related field, with demonstrated success leading complex operational initiatives.
  • Proven experience leading manufacturing relocation, facility launch, consolidation, capacity expansion, or production transfer projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate projects involving manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality, finance, and other key stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of production planning, material flow, capacity planning, manufacturing processes, and execution.
  • Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify risks and drive timely solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage aggressive timelines, competing priorities, budgets, and project dependencies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel between ANA locations and other project sites as required.
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience is required.

$120,000 - $132,500 a year

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $132,500 per year, which serves as a guide for pay decisions. Final compensation will be determined by a number of factors, such as the candidate's qualifications, experience, and skills, as well as pay equity considerations.
