What You'll DoAs a
Utility Project Manager, you'll lead and support projects that improve system reliability through effective
vegetation management strategies. You will:
- Manage and coordinate easement tree clearing initiatives to meet aggressive reliability targets
- Oversee projects involving high voltage and low voltage powerlines
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient execution
- Track project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation in vegetation management
Responsibilities:- Maintain annual vegetation management work plans to ensure rights-of-way remain clear and minimize risk of system disturbances
- Oversee contractor planning and execution of tree trimming and vegetation management activities
- Plan, schedule, and assign work to contractors to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on work progress; proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in utility management with highlights of vegetation management experience
- Experience in electric or gas utilities (preferred)
- Exposure to or knowledge of vegetation management or tree trimming operations
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Interest in developing leadership capabilities
- Familiarity with electrical systems and safety standards
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel and work onsite as needed

Benefits & Salary:- This position pays between $85,000 and $1450,000 annually and based on experience.
- Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
- Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.
- May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
