Utilities Lead with our award-winning Rail & Transit team in the Greater Toronto Area.
In this role, you will lead utilities planning and execution across major transit projects, guiding complex relocations, influencing strategy, and mentoring emerging talent - all while delivering infrastructure that transforms how people move through our cities.
Your Impact- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive Utilities Plans that reduce risk and ensure regulatory compliance
- Oversee utility investigations, design coordination, and relocation activities across all project phases
- Integrate utilities work seamlessly into multidisciplinary project schedules and delivery strategies
- Engage stakeholders, negotiate solutions, and drive alignment to achieve efficient, cost-effective outcomes
- Review and validate designs to ensure alignment with project objectives, standards, and regulatory frameworks
- Mentor junior team members and foster technical excellence across project teams
- Contribute to the successful delivery of transformative transit infrastructure connecting communities
The Skills That Set You Apart- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture
- 10+ years of experience in utilities investigation and design for large-scale infrastructure projects
- Proven experience delivering transit or transportation projects with agencies such as MTO, Metrolinx, TTC, or municipalities
- Strong knowledge of Ontario's legal and regulatory framework for utilities and civil infrastructure
- Experience with alternative delivery models such as Design-Build or Progressive Design-Build
- PMP certification and familiarity with the TPAP process are considered strong assets
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience guiding teams in a consulting environment
CompensationAB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $122,900 - $162,800
MB & ON: $112,100 - $154,400
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $111,000 - $147,400
