The UX team works within Pason's Research and Development (R&D) department and is responsible for product research and design. Our motto is Technology Deployed Simply, and this role brings that idea to life. You'll collaborate with project teams and fellow designers to create interfaces that are intuitive, practical, and easy to use in high-stress environments. • You think research should be the star of the show.Your workflows and designs are grounded inresearch, customer feedback andUXbest practices.

  • You enjoy seeing designs come to life: You understand the UX design process and can carry a project or feature from beginning to end independently.

What you'll do...

As a User Experience Designer, you'll help create delightful software that is clear, useful, and grounded in the realities of our rig user's work. • Putting a voice to the customer problem through field research and user interviews.
  • Designing research-backed, intuitive screens and workflows for Pason's field application
  • Conducting design reviews, usability walkthroughs, and iterating based on stakeholder feedback and user testing inputs
  • Clearly communicating concepts and design rationale using paper and pencil sketches, wireframes, high fidelity mockups, prototypes, and presentations.
  • Leading and contributing to design critiques by exploring alternative perspectives and asking thoughtful questions about how and why problems are being solved.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to align teams, explain tradeoffs, and drive clarity in ambiguous spaces
