Job DescriptionDescription Key Responsibilities:Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Executive Support and Briefings:
- Develop preparatory briefings, data sets, and materials to ensure MID Front Office leadership is informed and equipped for senior-level NRO meetings.
- Provide executive-level support (e.g., point papers, PowerPoint presentations, etc.) for MID meetings, technical reviews, and forums.
- Customer and Partner Engagement:
- Conduct outreach across the DoD and IC, leveraging domain expertise in customer operations.
- Build a comprehensive understanding of the full range of customer products, services, and operational needs.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of MID's key partners, including Combatant Commands (COCOMs), service branches, and other IC/DoD organizations.
- Information Synthesis and Technical Support:
- Consolidate input from MID entities and craft coherent, directorate-level responses.
- Provide technical guidance and subject-matter expertise for NRO's engagements with USAFRICOM, USEUCOM, subordinate component commands, and operations centers.
- User Education and System Awareness:
- Educate users on NRO systems, capabilities, and strategic priorities, ensuring they are fully informed and empowered to leverage these resources effectively.
- Provide updates on resource issues and the operational status of NRO systems and their potential impacts on mission objectives.
- Rapid Enterprise Solutions:
- Act as an action officer for the NRO Senior Field Representative and Government Office leadership as needed.
- Respond promptly and effectively to enterprise-level challenges, applying creative problem-solving and team coordination skills.
- Strategic Messaging and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Execute strategic messaging initiatives, track user needs, and collect data metrics to enhance customer experience and engagement.
- Regularly interface with key stakeholders, including Government officials, SETA contractors, FFRDCs, and external mission partners.
Qualifications To thrive in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of professional, mission-related experience.
- Technical and Leadership Expertise:
- Strong technical acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to perform under pressure with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Effective negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal, to coordinate with stakeholders across the IC and DoD (including senior military/government officials and contractors).
- Domain Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of the intelligence community, customer domains, and technical fundamentals related to IC space collectors, command/control, mission control, and mission processing.
- Familiarity with SIGINT/GEOINT remote sensing systems, protection measures, and space/ground architecture-including mission management and processing functions.
- Tools and Capabilities:
- Expertise in visualization, situational awareness, and collaboration tools to maximize the operational utility of NRO capabilities.
- Soft Skills:
- Highly self-motivated, customer-focused, and organized, with a proven ability to perform in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
