Used Car Sales Manager

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach the sales team to achieve monthly sales and gross profit goals.
  • Manage inventory, aging, pricing, merchandising, and turn objectives.
  • Structure deals and work closely with the F&I department to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor CRM activity to ensure timely follow-up on internet, phone, and showroom leads.
  • Conduct daily sales meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop sales consultants.
  • Partner with the Used Car Director to source and acquire quality inventory.
  • Analyze key performance metrics including:
    • Retail Sales
    • PVR
    • Front-End Gross
    • F&I Penetration
    • Closing Ratios
    • Inventory Turn
    • Aged Inventory
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all dealership, state, federal, and manufacturer requirements.
