Position Summary...
The (USA) Software Engineer III plays a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering scalable software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management and user experience. This position involves troubleshooting complex issues, conducting root cause analysis, and ensuring high-quality code through rigorous testing and continuous integration practices. The role requires managing project requirements, driving technical solutions, and mentoring small engineering groups to achieve timely and sustainable outcomes. The engineer supports business needs by providing technical guidance and maintaining adherence to company standards, contributing to the overall success of software initiatives.

What you'll do...

Role summary:

  • Install, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift (v4.17+) across environments.
  • Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot clusters; handle upgrades, CoreOS patching, node lifecycle, capacity planning, and scaling.
  • Ensure reliability via HA design, backup/restore readiness, and disaster recovery.
  • Manage Kubernetes resources (Namespaces, Deployments, StatefulSets, Pods, Services, PVs, PVCs) and NFS/storage classes.
  • Troubleshoot pod, node, network, and service mesh issues; perform RCA and post-incident reviews.
  • Support on-call P1/P2 incidents.
  • Implement application deployments using GitOps ,Ansible and Terraform; automate via Python/Bash.
  • Manage networking, connectivity, SSL/TLS, runbooks, mentor engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define high-level designs and translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-quality code following coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production and business issues through root cause analysis and effective problem solving.
  • Lead small engineering groups by providing guidance, documentation, and timelines to ensure project success.
  • Implement automation scripts and telemetry features to support continuous integration and delivery processes.
  • Monitor application performance, conduct maintenance activities, and evaluate change requests for feasibility.
  • Support users by addressing technical inquiries and recommending sustainable solutions aligned with business needs.


What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience in software design, development, and delivery within Agile environments.
  • Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C#.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and automation scripting.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
  • Skilled in debugging, testing, and defect management using modern tools and methodologies.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding small engineering teams to achieve project goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on quality, security, and performance.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
