What you'll do...
The Senior Software Engineer will lead the delivery of scoped features and models through collaborative teams, ensuring alignment with platform and business objectives. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software solutions using multiple programming languages and AI/ML integrations. The position requires strong technical judgment, continuous improvement, and effective communication with stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable solutions. The engineer will also support DevOps practices, mentor peers, and drive innovation to enhance system performance and reliability while adhering to Walmart's standards and values.

The Walmart Pay team within Omni Financial Services engineers secure, resilient, and high-performance payment solutions managing millions of transactions across Walmart's in-store and digital channels. The team drives financial access and checkout innovation by delivering reliable software through collaborative engineering and continuous improvement. Emphasizing scalable platform design, iterative development, and technical excellence, team members prioritize accountability and knowledge sharing.
