Role summary:

The Senior Manager, Operations leads the execution of complex projects and programs by managing timelines, resources, and performance standards to ensure successful implementations. This role provides data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to enhance business efficiency and operational effectiveness. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the position drives continuous improvement initiatives, develops innovative solutions, and oversees budget management. The Senior Manager fosters strong partnerships, supports talent development, and upholds company policies to deliver measurable results aligned with organizational goals while promoting a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
About the team:

Our team leads initiatives enhancing inventory accuracy and product visibility by connecting merchants, suppliers, stores, and technology. We drive RFID adoption through collaboration with partners to expand source tagging and equip store teams with hand-scanning tools. By testing, validating, and scaling RFID solutions, we improve product traceability, inventory accuracy, and on-shelf availability. Focused on operational excellence, we leverage data analysis and cross-functional leadership to develop innovative solutions that increase business efficiency and deliver improved outcomes for customers.
What you'll do:
  • Direct and manage project work streams, ensuring successful rollouts through effective planning, communication, and performance measurement.
  • Analyze data and business trends to provide actionable insights and support decision-making aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Oversee budget management, approve expenditures, and develop contingency plans to address escalated issues.
  • Lead and mentor associates, fostering a high-performing team environment with clear performance expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement by leveraging best practices and new tools to enhance business processes and customer experience.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
