Position Summary...
Reporting to the Director, Plus Membership Upgrades, the Senior Manager will play a key role in shaping and executing Plus upgrade strategies across digital, marketing, and in-Club experiences. Plus is the premium membership tier offered by Sam's Club. Plus upgrades are a growth priority for Sam's Club, and this role plays a key role in executing and scaling the strategies that expand Plus adoption across our Member base
The Senior Manager will work closely with partners across Marketing, Product, Ecommerce, Operations, and Insights, and will help translate strategy into scalable programs and measurable results.

What you'll do...
What You'll Do

Develop & Execute Plus Upgrade Strategies
  • Support the development and execution of Plus Mix and upgrade strategies across digital platforms, marketing touchpoints, and in-Club experiences.
  • Translate strategic priorities into clear initiatives and execution plans, helping design and optimize multi-touch upgrade journeys that influence Members over time.

Performance Tracking & Optimization
  • Track and analyze Plus Mix and upgrade performance to identify drivers, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop reporting, dashboards, and insights to support performance discussions and test-and-learn initiatives.

Analytics, Targeting & Insights
  • Partner with Insights and Analytics teams to leverage Member data, segmentation, and upgrade propensity models to inform targeting and timing.
  • Analyze Member behavior across lifecycle stages to identify friction points and opportunities to improve upgrade conversion.
  • Apply a multi-touch attribution mindset to assess how digital, marketing, ecommerce, and in-Club touchpoints contribute to upgrade outcomes.

Cross-Functional Execution
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Ecommerce, Operations, Tech, Finance, and Insights to execute Plus upgrade initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, manage timelines, and proactively surface risks, dependencies, and recommendations.

In-Club Experience & Enablement
  • Gain deep understanding of how upgrades are delivered in our Clubs by partnering with Operations to test, learn, and scale effective in-Club upgrade experiences.
  • Support improvements to in-Club upgrade experiences by translating strategy into clear storytelling, tools, and activation moments.

Communication & Stakeholder Management
  • Prepare materials, insights, and recommendations for presentations to leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Communicate performance results, learnings, and next steps clearly and effectively, building strong working relationships across teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
