Role summary:

Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics to lead the development and execution of data-driven strategies that enhance business performance. This role requires expertise in advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical analysis to deliver actionable insights and drive informed decision-making. The successful candidate will collaborate across teams to manage projects, improve data quality, and establish key performance indicators. Strong leadership and change management skills are essential to guide analytics initiatives that support Walmart's strategic objectives and foster continuous improvement in business processes.
About the team:

The First Mile Inventory Flow Advanced Analytics team enhances sourcing and supply chain decisions through data, automation, and analytics. The team builds and maintains tools that offer clear visibility into supply chain alignments, inventory flows, sourcing costs, and supplier information. By automating data validations and streamlining workflows, the team improves data accuracy and reduces manual effort. Their work supports scalable sourcing and inventory optimization processes, enabling business partners to make faster, well-informed decisions that drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the organization.
What you'll do:
  • Partners with senior leaders to solve complex business challenges through advanced analytics, data modeling and strategic recommendations.
  • Leads end-to-end projects, including prototype development, algorithm implementation, testing, validation and risk management.
  • Collaborate across business, product, engineering and external partners to deliver high-impact, data-driven solutions that improve business performance.
  • Ensure data quality and establish key performance indicators to measure the impact of analytics projects.
  • Provide thought leadership and mentorship to first mile and analytics teams, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage projects and resources to deliver timely, actionable insights aligned with organizational goals.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
