What you'll do...
Role summary:
Walmart is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to leverage advanced analytical techniques and data visualization tools to support business decision-making. This role involves identifying and validating data sources, ensuring data quality, and translating complex business requirements into actionable insights. The successful candidate will collaborate across multiple domains to develop data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and strategic initiatives. Strong expertise in exploratory data analysis, root cause analysis, and effective communication is essential to influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement aligned with Walmart's business objectives.
What you'll do:
  • Identify and source relevant data from multiple business domains to support analytics initiatives.
  • Perform data quality assessments and lead cleansing activities to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Translate complex business requirements into actionable data projects aligned with strategic goals.
  • Develop and apply advanced exploratory data analysis and statistical techniques to uncover insights.
  • Create clear, impactful data visualizations and presentations tailored to stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver data-driven recommendations that address business challenges.
  • Mentor junior analysts on analytical methods, storytelling, and data quality best practices.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and other data querying languages to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
