Role summary:

As a Senior Data Analyst at Walmart, you will leverage advanced data management and analytical expertise to identify, assess, and interpret complex business data across multiple domains. You will translate business requirements into actionable insights, applying rigorous data quality standards and visualization techniques to support strategic decision-making. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business outcomes. This role demands a strong understanding of data ecosystems, statistical methods, and effective communication to influence stakeholders and mentor junior analysts in delivering impactful results.
About the team:

The Walmart+ Core Ops & Strategy Enablement Data team develops scalable tools that transform complex data into actionable insights. They conduct detailed analyses and design rigorous experimentation frameworks to support strategic initiatives. Collaborating with cross-functional partners, the team delivers advanced insights that reveal performance drivers beyond standard reporting. Leveraging expertise in big data, SQL, Python, and Tableau, they enable data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. This team leads projects end-to-end, manages stakeholder relationships, and fosters a culture of learning and innovation to drive impactful results across the Walmart+ ecosystem.
What you'll do:
  • Bring data to life through compelling storytelling, translating complex insights into clear narratives that resonate with senior stakeholders and shape the direction of Walmart+ strategy.
  • Build scalable data foundations and consumption tools by transforming complex data into clean, automated pipelines and reusable assets that power self-service insights across teams.
  • Design intuitive dashboards and reporting experiences that go beyond descriptive metrics, enabling cross-functional teams to explore performance deeply and understand the underlying drivers and "why" behind results.
  • Partner closely with Acquisition, Retention, Operations, Member Care, and other cross-functional teams to deeply understand their strategic priorities and translate them into tailored insights.

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00 - $186,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
