What you'll do...
Role summary:
The Senior Data Analyst will leverage extensive expertise in data sourcing, quality management, and advanced analytics to deliver actionable business insights. This role requires a deep understanding of business domains, data ecosystems, and visualization techniques to translate complex data into clear, strategic recommendations. The position involves collaborating with stakeholders to align data solutions with organizational goals, ensuring data integrity, and mentoring team members. The successful candidate will support data-driven decision-making by applying rigorous analysis, promoting best practices, and driving continuous improvement within a dynamic business environment.
What you'll do:
  • Identify and assess appropriate data sources aligned with business requirements and service level agreements.
  • Perform initial data quality checks and manage ongoing data quality monitoring and remediation activities.
  • Translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions using advanced analytics and statistical techniques.
  • Develop and deliver clear, insightful data visualizations and reports tailored to stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business objectives and support decision-making.
  • Mentor junior analysts on data analysis methods, visualization best practices, and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and promote data management best practices.

What you'll bring:
  • Extensive knowledge of data sources, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience performing data quality assessments.
  • Strong understanding of data strategy principles, data management, governance, and data quality standards.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into data-driven solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in advanced data visualization tools such as Python libraries, Tableau, and PowerBI to communicate insights effectively.
  • Experience with exploratory data analysis using statistical techniques and scripting languages like SQL and Python.
  • Ability to manage data quality frameworks, monitor metrics, and lead data cleansing initiatives.
  • Skilled in collaborating with stakeholders to deliver actionable business insights and support decision-making.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
