What you'll do...
Role summary:

Walmart is seeking a Master Electrician, Facility Services, to ensure the safety, functionality, and maintenance of electrical systems across facilities. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing complex electrical issues, and leading repairs while ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. The position requires managing contractors, providing technical guidance, and supporting emergency responses. The Master Electrician will also oversee work quality, maintain documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts, supporting operational excellence and safety standards within the organization.
What you'll do:
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, facilities, and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and resolve complex electrical issues using blueprints, manuals, and code requirements.
  • Install and maintain electrical panels, breakers, switches, outlets, lighting, and conduit in compliance with NEC and safety standards.
  • Lead and mentor Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians, providing technical guidance and training on electrical techniques and safety protocols.
  • Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts procurement, and contractor coordination to meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations supporting critical business needs.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven expertise as a Master Electrician with comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
  • Skilled in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, including panels, breakers, switches, outlets, lighting, and conduit installations.
  • Ability to lead and mentor Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians, providing technical guidance and training on electrical techniques and safety protocols.
  • Experience managing work orders, maintenance schedules, contractor coordination, and documentation with attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to safety compliance, including OSHA and EPA regulations, and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Proficient in operating heavy machinery and performing preventive maintenance across multiple crafts.

The hourly wage range for this position is $33.00 - $63.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.








Minimum Qualifications...
