What you'll do...
Role summary:
The (USA) Market People Partner leads the execution of workforce management and talent acquisition strategies to enhance associate engagement and business performance across assigned stores. This role involves developing and communicating business plans, addressing operational challenges, and driving initiatives that improve scheduling, staffing, and talent development. The partner collaborates with stakeholders to assess talent needs, manage pipelines, and implement succession plans while promoting continuous learning and performance management. By aligning workforce programs with business objectives, this position supports a high-performing environment that fosters growth, accountability, and operational excellence.
What you'll do:
  • Lead execution of Workforce Management programs by identifying operational needs and developing business plans to improve scheduling and staffing performance.
  • Drive talent acquisition strategies by sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and managing the job offer process to maintain a skilled workforce.
  • Manage talent pipelines through assessment, succession planning, and implementation of development programs to support career progression and retention.
  • Oversee talent review activities, analyze data to identify workforce trends, and integrate findings into recruiting and planning strategies.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to build high-performing teams aligned with company values.
  • Evaluate and improve workforce plans and initiatives to enhance efficiency and business outcomes.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $99,000.00 - $198,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Associate will be required to successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments.
Valid state-issued driver's license.
