Position Summary...What you'll do...Role summary: The (USA) Manager, Transportation Maintenance, leads the development and execution of regional fleet maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and corporate policies. This role oversees preventive maintenance, budget management, and warranty analysis while driving continuous improvement initiatives and green technology adoption. The manager collaborates with internal teams and regulatory authorities to maintain operational safety and efficiency. Additionally, this position provides leadership and development for associates, fosters a high-performance culture, and supports Walmart's commitment to integrity, operational excellence, and sustainable business practices.
What you'll do: - Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulations, and government requirements in transportation maintenance.
- Develop, update, and communicate maintenance operating procedures and regulatory compliance programs.
- Manage preventive fleet maintenance, including safety audits, warranty analysis, and lifecycle cost improvements.
- Oversee regional capital and operational budgets, controlling expenses and warranty recoveries.
- Lead business plans and projects by identifying needs, removing barriers, and measuring performance.
- Supervise, train, and develop associates, fostering a team-based work environment and setting performance expectations.
- Promote company values, ethics, and continuous improvement initiatives supporting operational excellence.
What you'll bring: - Extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance related to transportation maintenance, including local, state, and federal laws.
- Proven experience managing preventive fleet maintenance programs and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong skills in profit and loss management, budget oversight, and warranty analysis to optimize maintenance costs.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor, and develop teams while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Expertise in developing and executing operational safety audits and maintenance procedures aligned with corporate policies.
- Ability to analyze lifecycle maintenance costs and apply advanced technologies to improve fleet reliability and efficiency.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
