Responsibilities

  • Drive growth for Walmart Specialty Pharmacy by forming strategic partnerships with health plans, PBMs, employers, and other healthcare entities.
  • Lead the process of identifying, developing, and implementing new business opportunities from inception to execution.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases and conduct necessary financial and market analyses to evaluate opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships at the executive level, effectively negotiating agreements and progressing opportunities independently.

Position Summary...
The Manager, Business Development drives growth for Walmart Specialty Pharmacy through strategic partnerships with health plans, PBMs, employers, and other healthcare stakeholders. This role identifies, develops, and advances new business opportunities from prospecting through contracting and implementation, using data-driven insights, pricing strategies, and compelling value propositions. The manager collaborates across operations, analytics, finance, legal, and contracting teams to develop business cases, negotiate agreements, and expand market opportunities. Success requires strong analytical skills, managed care expertise, understanding of pharmacy and medical benefits, and the ability to independently influence stakeholders and drive results.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
