Position Summary...What you'll do...As a General Manager, Distribution Center, you will lead a large-scale operation responsible for delivering results across safety, service, quality, productivity, and associate engagement. You will set the strategic direction for the facility, develop high-performing leaders, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring an exceptional experience for associates and customers.
This role requires a dynamic leader who can balance operational excellence, talent development, financial stewardship, and customer focus in a fast-paced, complex supply chain environment.
What You'll Do- Lead all aspects of distribution center operations to achieve business goals related to safety, productivity, quality, service, and associate engagement.
- Develop and execute strategic plans that improve operational performance and drive long-term business results.
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team while creating a culture of accountability, growth, and inclusion.
- Oversee workforce planning, staffing strategies, and succession planning to support current and future business needs.
- Manage facility financial performance, including budget oversight, asset utilization, and expense management.
- Leverage data and operational insights to identify opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and improve performance.
- Ensure compliance with Walmart policies, regulatory requirements, and company safety and quality standards.
- Foster a culture where associate safety, well-being, and development remain top priorities.
- Lead change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
- Serve as a champion for Walmart's values by supporting community involvement and building strong external partnerships.

The annual salary range for this position is $180,000.00 - $270,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management); and 3 years experience in a senior management role within an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide OR 2 years experience as a Walmart Logistics Assistant General Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates OR 5 years experience in a senior management role as an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide
