Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
• Active PA Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Connecticut State Physician Assistant License or State Nurse Practitioner License is required.
• ACLS/BLS Certification when necessary for the position.
• Clinical experience as an NP/PA in urogynecology is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with urogynecology and pelvic floor disorders.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians to develop individualized treatment plans after obtaining detailed medical histories and performing physical exams.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, communicate results effectively to patients.
• Prescribe medications and therapies per state regulations and organizational guidelines.
• Perform office-based procedures within the scope of practice.
• Engage in patient follow-up care, triage, and management of conditions in urogynecology.
• Work alongside an interdisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
