In this role, you will: Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a high-performing Risk & Compliance team. Ensure compliance with IKEA policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including safety, security, food safety, data privacy, and product safety. Lead site safety and security programs by identifying risks, tracking key performance indicators, and implementing action plans. Manage incident response, investigations, reporting, and insurance claims while driving continuous improvement. Partner with internal leaders and external agencies to maintain regulatory compliance and emergency preparedness. Support investigations involving theft, fraud, workplace misconduct, and information security while protecting confidentiality. Qualifications • At least 3 years of previous retail Safety & Security Management experience, or at least 3 years IKEA Risk & Compliance experience including internal training programs to develop towards a Risk & Compliance Manager position. - Knowledge and understanding of Federal, State, and Local legislation regarding safety, security, and risk in a retail environment. - Previous experience with running/implementing a comprehensive safety program and security program in a retail environment. - Previous experience performing risk assessments, investigating safety and security incidents including internal & external theft and fraud investigations, performing root cause analysis, completing and overseeing incident reporting, performing crisis management, monitoring compliance for data privacy, implementing and training de-escalation methods, and managing safety and security vendors. - Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 78,946 USD to 113,288 USD and will be based on relevant work experience.
