Full Job Description
We are seeking a Underground and Open Pit Mining Engineer.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Technical and project management support for engineering studies (scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility)
  • Technical deliverables, budgeting and scheduling
  • Provide operational advice to, and interface regularly, with clients
  • Perform due diligence and independent reporting projects
  • Actively engage in business development
  • Actively engage in development and/or advancement of SRK`s engineering practices
  • Other duties as assigned


Essential Requirements:

  • A bachelor`s degree in mining engineering or related field
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years` post-graduate industry experience in underground mining, mine planning, and preferably with a diverse range of commodities
  • Proficiency with computerized mine planning and optimization tools, e.g. Deswik, Datamine, MineSight, Vulcan
  • Strong inter-personal communication and writing skills
  • Ability and desire to collaborate with other technical specialists
  • The ability to work in a dynamic, flexible workplace
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage own time effectively
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
