Under the general supervision of the Ultrasound Supervisor, and guidance of the Lead Technologist, the US Technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures as requested. The technologist will also perform any job-related functions (clerical, transportation, training and cleaning), as needed to provide optimal patient care while maintaining hospital values.

Required Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training: INPATIENT & OUTPATIENT ULTRASOUND: Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or graduate of a diagnostic medical sonography or ultrasound program, plus 5 years experience in a high volume acute care setting.
  • Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 6 months MATERNAL FETAL TESTING: Acute 2nd and 3rd trimester OB experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited ultrasound program.
  • Upon hire: RDMS certified in both Abdomen and OB-GYN.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
