Responsibilities

Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1. Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound Program or current certificate. 2. RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in [Physics [SPI], and 1 Specialty exam [AB, BR, FE, OB/GYN, or PS] to be completed within one (1) year of hire and maintained throughout employment.3. Previous experience preferred.4. Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.5. Proficient computer skills.
