Job Description:Position Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound exams and assist radiologists with image-guided procedures.
- Prepare, position, and educate patients while ensuring safety and infection control standards.
- Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and accurately document exams in RIS/PACS.
- Coordinate patient care by reviewing referrals, ordering labs, communicating results, and supporting scheduling.
- Maintain equipment, quality assurance, ACR accreditation standards, inventory, and train new staff as needed.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) recognized by the American Heart Association
- Current registry by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) (or must be registry-eligible and obtain registry within one year of employment in technologist position)
- Must be registered through ARDMS with AB, OB/GYN and RVT (Practice and State Specific)
COMPENSATION & TOTAL REWARDS
The hourly range for this position is $33.00-$49.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. Final compensation is determined based on education, experience, certifications, and geographic factors.
