Overview

CentraState Medical Center is currently seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join its Radiology Department. This role involves performing ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a radiologist and contributing to a cooperative learning environment by mentoring and training students.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for examination.
• Performs Ultrasound procedures according to professional standards and policies.
• Reviews images, documents completion of case, assembles images, requisition and file jacket for delivery to Radiologist.

Qualifications

• High school or diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school for diagnostic sonography.
• Previous related experience post-training preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT certification or eligibility required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Must maintain CE requirements and CPR certification.
• Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team.

Compensation Range: $35.00 - $59.50 per hour

The compensation above reflects the established range from CentraState Healthcare System (CSHS) for this position at the time the job was posted. CSHS considers many factors to determine compensation, including education, experience, skills, licenses, certification, and training. As such, team member compensation may fall outside this range.

Additionally, the compensation range reflects base salary and does not include extra shift rates or incentives tied to quality, productivity, etc., as applicable.
